冬まっさかり。我が村はもうクリスマスムードで一杯です。
The winter grows deeper. Our village is getting more Christmasy.
この所冷え込む日が続きました。
It's been cold for a while. Frosty!
表通りにある近所のコミュニティーホールでは毎週の様に違うクリスマスマーケットが開催されています。
There were two different Christmas markets happened (and happening) at the neighbour community hall in weekends so far.
上の２枚の写真、代わり映えしないけど、２週末の違うマーケットです。いつかはベンダー側になってみたいものです。

家から一番近いカフェが閉店してからしばらく空っぽだった建物に、どうやら地元のクラフトビールレストランが来るようです。クラフトビールファンの私としてはとーっても嬉しい驚き！開店は来年の様で待ち遠しいです。
Since the closest cafe to us has closed down we were wondering what is coming next in it but it seems like a micro brewery that coming in the spring! yay! We are fans of craft beer so we can't wait!

そしてこんな物達手に入れました。

家のストーブはガスのファイヤープレースなのですが、火は一応本物。ガラスの前にメタル製のトナカイとサンタクロースの置物を。クリスマシーです。
Putting a metal ornamental Santa and reindeers right in front of our gas fireplace is Christmasy!
先日、仕事が終わる頃に夫から「サプライズがあるよ」とテキストが来ました。何の事だろうと楽しみにしていると、大きな箱を抱えて帰ってきました。新聞紙が沢山詰まっている箱の中を探ると出て来たのがこれ。前から欲しい欲しいと言い続けていたアンティークの食器でした。
On the other day, my husband texted me from his work and said that he has gotten a surprise for me. And then he came back with a big box and I had no idea what. It turned out that those vintage tableware set which I have wanted was in the box!
近所の大きなアンティークモールで同じフェデラルグラスCOの1950年代のスナックセットで赤いバラのデザインのは見つけたのですが、赤は家のインテリアと合わないし、ブルー系のはないかしらとネットで探した所ebayでこちらを発見。殆どがアメリカのベンダーだし、値段もコンディションも違うので、どうしようかと迷っている内に夫が内緒でオーダーしてくれました。彼は国内のモントリオールから取り寄せてくれたらしい。
When I found the same Federal glass Co 1950's milk glass snuck set at the antique mall in Fort Langley, I started to be attracted to. However, they had only ones with Red rose pattern and the red is not my colour. I searched online such as ebay and realized that there was blue ones available somewhere most things were in U.S.A. While I was puzzling what to do, my husband secretly dealt with a Montreal vender and got it for me.
家の『カフェコーナー』（笑）に上手く収まりました。ケーキスタンドとガラスのフードも買ってしまった！これで本当にケーキ焼きますよ〜！モチベーションは大事です。
My "cafe corner" lol, is becoming nicer. I even bought a cake stand and glass hood for it. I'm seriously going to bake a cake soon! A motivation is set!
先日写真を載せた手作りの木の枝リースもちょっとクリスマス風にしてみました。
My twiggy wreath is also becoming a Christmas version.
窓にも飾りをつけて、それからお待ちかねの取っても手に入ってシャッターは完成です。
I put decorations on windows too. And finally we got handles for the shutters. They are nice on them.
これはクリスマシーと言うよりまた停電で（よく起こるんです）数時間キャンドルで過ごさざるを得なくなって時の写真。
This was nothing with Christmas but it's a picture from when we got a power outage. It happened sometimes and spend for a while with candle lights.
そしてこれはサーリーのセントラスシティーの前。キラキラ。
And this was form Surrey central city mall's big Christmas decorations. Sparkling!
