３月になってしまった．．．時の流れは早いですね。

春がすごい勢いでやって来ているような気がします。

It's been March already! Time flashes by...

Spring is flourishing so quickly here.

先週末まで義理母がアルバータからやって来て、我が家に滞在していました。

彼女の到着日は彼女のお誕生日だったので、こんなのを作ってプレゼントにしました。

ここら辺ではもう春っぽいので、ウールフェルトのスリッパはちょっと時期を逃した感が否めませんが、お隣の州ではまだ朝晩は軽くマイナス５度以下になる様なので、良しとします。

Till last Sunday, my mother-in-law, who lives in Alberta, was here with us for 10 days. The day she arrived here was her birthday so I made the things for her one of BD gifts. I felt like a bit too late to produce warm felted slippers season-wisely now but her place in Alberta still could be lower than -5 degrees so it should be fine. 

例のごとく鍵編みで作ってから熱いお湯でゴシゴシ洗ってギューっと締まったフェルトにしてしまう方法で、始めてグロッグスタイルのスリッパを作りました。経験上、縮み率は大体把握していますが、左右そろってサイズ７に縮む様に出来るのか、半信半疑でした。

I made them as the same way as I have been into -crocheted, and felted by washing thing in the hot water-, I wasn't sure if it would go well or not. I knew the shrinkage by my experiences, but it was still challenging to make it both side the exactly same as size 7 because it was my first attempt to make clog style slippers with that way. 

片方だけフェルト化した状態。始めての割には上手く行ったと思います。

When I made one felted. Yeah luckily it went good enough for the first time.

これは好き好きですが、お年寄りには滑り止めを付けた方が良いと思って、厚手のフェルトに布用の３Dペイントでラインを書いて縫い付けました。このペイントは盛り上がったまま、シリコンの様にしっかり固まります。

I attached cleats specially for elder person just in case. I drew some lines onto thick felt cloth with 3D fabric paint which harden like silicon ridges, and sewed them on the soles. 

ここからはハート型作品３連ちゃん、行きます。

Here are some heart shaped things I made. 

変形フープのピアス。真ん中は小さなパールビーズです。

付けるとこんな。

フック型のピアス。薄いピンクのビーズでかなりガーリかな？でもシンプルな形です。

そしてこれは材料がが余っていたので、ちょっとやってみたクッション。近所のとーってもおしゃれなお店でこんなのが凄い値段で売っていたので、「なんだ、こんなの作れるじゃん．．．」という不純な動機（笑）でやってみました。

And they are cushions. I just made them because I had some leftover materials. Actually I saw that like of design at the very fashionable interior/furniture shop, and the price of it was unbelievably expensive so...lol.
